Adding a Free Business Listing to CitySearch

If you are trying to add your business (or a client’s business) to CitySearch, you may notice that there is no visible option (at this time, at least).

Luckily, Phil over at Local Visibility System got hold of a solution, which he details in this article, How to Add a Free CitySearch Business Listing.

Basically, if you email your business name, address, phone number, website, and general industry category to myaccount@citygridmedia.com, they will add your listing manually. It may be weeks before your listing appears, but many have had success with this method.

We are full-time musicians who perform mostly for corporate and private events. Would very much like to list our business. “House Of Steel is a dba of our primary company name “Mike & T Entertainment LLC”.

Most sites consider our primary category as “Bands & Orchestras” or “musicians” or even “Party Entertainment”.

Call or write with any questions or comments.

Hi House of Steel. Please clarify – are you looking for someone to list you on online profiles? If so, please email us at makingithappen@decisivedesign.com and we can set something up.

If you just want to list your business on CitySearch, you can send the information to CitySearch via the email address listed in the blog article, above.

This is not guaranteed to get you listed, though. Alternatively, you can go through their paid process and for the paid account/listing.
